Why do we need you ?Primary FunctionsMaintain the safe and efficient use of equipment, while adjusting settings to ensure accurate production of goods. Support all efforts to maintain 5-S standards and the plant's overall housekeeping as assigned by the Production Supervisor. Assist other Managers with different tasks as they occur as assigned by the Production Supervisor.Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform daily routine cleaning of areas; maintain 5-S standards and housekeeping
  • Responsible for machine adjustments, product changeover, start-up, and shutdowns activities.
  • Conduct preventable maintenance of process lines and resolve production problems efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure optimum operations of equipment by reporting needed maintenance
  • Meet the department's key objectives
  • Must understand and follow job-specific SOPs
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned consistent with the non-exempt functions.

  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions in English.
  • Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to recognize the quality expected and be able to reproduce it.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations.
  • Must maintain a positive rating as described in the training/qualification evaluation record as Front End Support.
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations at a level required for successful job performance.
  • Hand-eye coordination.

Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Any appropriate combination of academic and work experience.
