Tool & Die Maker

• Perform complex bench work and machine operations to maintain and improve high-speed stamping dies and fixtures.
• Plan, layout, and execute die maintenance work with limited supervision.
• Operate and set up Tool Room equipment including grinders, mills, lathes, and EDM machines.
• Conduct detailed inspections to ensure die quality and performance.
• Train and mentor junior toolmakers, machinists, and technicians.
• Support troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the maintenance system.
• Use forklifts and overhead cranes (training available if needed).

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a state-sponsored Tool & Die or Mold Maker apprenticeship program OR equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tool and die.
• Strong troubleshooting skills; electrical troubleshooting experience a plus.
• Experience with Wire EDM, Esprit programming, and CAD/NC programming highly preferred.
• Soldering, brazing, and welding skills are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Solid computer skills for documentation and communication.
