- Collaborate with development and cloud infrastructure teams to deploy, monitor, and manage cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP, or hybrid environments). Optimize resource allocation, cost, and performance across multiple environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated quality, security, and compliance controls. Oversee configuration management, versioning, and rollbacks. Champion automation to reduce manual interventions and improve system reliability. Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure platform availability and observability.
- Design and enforce security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and vulnerability remediation.

- Analyze system metrics to identify and resolve bottlenecks in platform performance. Implement caching, load balancing, and scaling strategies to meet service level objectives.
- Document technical standards, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate and work closely with development, operations, and cloud infrastructure to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Responsible for participating in on-call rotations. Develop and maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans. Lead post-incident reviews, implement corrective actions, and improve platform resilience.
- Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience, required.
- Master's degree, preferred.
- 5-8 years of software industry experience, preferably in a leadership role in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure management, required.
- Advanced skills using programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, C#, Go, Bash, PowerShell).
- Expert-level knowledge and experience of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and cloud-native architecture.
- Advanced certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure AI Engineer, or similar).
- Experience with service mesh, API gateways, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with cost management, budgeting, and capacity planning for cloud services.
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions and Runners, Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) and IaC frameworks (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Strong hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Azure App Insights, or similar.
- Strong hands-on experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, AKS, GKE).
- Advanced knowledge of networking, databases, and system administration.
- Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog, Splunk).
- Track record of implementing security best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex platform issues under pressure.
- Ability to work independently as well as lead collaborative working sessions with internal teams and 3rd party engineers. Strong interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
