As a superintendent at my client, you will have the opportunity to oversee a diverse range of projects, leveraging your expertise to ensure successful project delivery. Your ability to oversee the field and foster collaborative relationships will be pivotal in achieving outstanding results and maintaining their reputation as an industry leader.
  • Coordinate new construction and significant remodeling projects, including arranging meetings and reviewing construction documents.
  • Organize subcontractors and material deliveries to ensure project progress.
  • Lead the project team alongside the Project Manager.
  • Manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to oversee project budgets and control costs effectively.
  • Supervise project scope, including coordinating scope changes and executing subcontracted work.
  • Conduct project coordination meetings with client representatives to proactively address issues and provide status updates.
  • Ensure adherence to plans, specifications, regulations, and industry standards to maintain quality control.
  • Oversee jobsite safety, health standards, organization, and cleanliness.
  • Manage issue resolution processes efficiently.
  • Represent the Scherrer Construction team and uphold the brand professionally.

  • 3-5 years of experience in Construction Supervision, handling projects ranging from $500,000 to $10 million.
  • Proficiency in construction methods related to renovation, construction, and site work.
  • Possession of OSHA 30 certification and working knowledge of OSHA Construction Industry Regulations.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures, including CPR First Responder training.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods.
  • Ability to manage both self-performed work and subcontractor activities.
  • Strong leadership qualities, emphasizing prioritization, organization, attention to detail, and task-oriented focus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with various stakeholders.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in industry-standard software, email, internet usage, and Microsoft applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is advantageous.

Base Salary:
