- Act as a strategic legal advisor to business and functional teams, fostering a strong partnership between the legal function and the broader organization.
- Provide legal and regulatory counsel on matters involving Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S), product stewardship, corporate sustainability, operations, and business development.
- Advise on legal requirements and risk management strategies related to regulated applications, including medical devices, cosmetics, and food contact materials.
- Support the development and implementation of compliance programs, policies, legal guidance documents, and training materials.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, including agreements with consultants, suppliers, and customers, as well as quality agreements.
- Collaborate with EH&S and other departments on initiatives including Responsible Care
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active membership in good standing with a U.S. State bar.
- Significant legal experience with multinational law firms and/or corporations.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver practical, business-oriented legal solutions across a broad spectrum of regulatory issues.
- Proven success leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams on complex legal and operational challenges.
- Strong ability to quickly grasp technical and regulatory matters related to chemical manufacturing, product stewardship, and global compliance.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. Environmental and chemical control laws, including the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, RCRA, TSCA, and Superfund (CERCLA) obligations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly convey complex legal concepts to diverse audiences.
- Highly organized, self-driven, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

- High ethical standards, sound judgment, and professionalism.
- Bachelor`s or advanced degree in a technical field such as chemistry, environmental science, or engineering.
- Experience advising on a broad range of regulatory matters, including international EHS and chemical control laws.
- Exposure to government affairs, advocacy strategies, or regulatory policy engagement.
- International legal or regulatory experience in a global industrial or manufacturing context.
