Job Title: Electrical Engineer Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of instrumentation and control products, such as monitors, transmitters, and electronic switches, from concept to launch. You will ensure delivery aligns with schedules, costs, and quality standards, following a structured stage gate process.Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end design of new products, ensuring they meet market needs.
  • Develop architectural options and prototypes for hardware, firmware, and software modules.
  • Ensure proper integration of electronics with mechanical design to create functional systems.
  • Diagnose hardware and software issues through lab testing and conduct functional testing to meet specifications and certifications.
  • Support value engineering and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Address customer quality issues with urgency.
  • Lead project teams, directing the work of others and collaborating with international engineering resources.
  • Prepare or oversee project documentation, including schematics, drawings, and test procedures.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines, such as operations and quality assurance, to resolve problems and achieve objectives.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in digital and analog circuit design, embedded systems design, and hardware design.
  • Strong knowledge of sensors or Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
  • Experience in sustaining engineering for existing products.
  • Skilled in microprocessor design and use of Altium or equivalent PCB design tools.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in electronic design and embedded systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience with PCB design and software tools, including SMT and layout for different layers.
  • Knowledge of embedded designs, including microprocessor, RAM, EEPROM, and analog circuit design.
  • Familiarity with power supplies, digital circuit design, signal conversion, filters, and timing constraints.
  • Excellent collaborative skills for team and cross-team interactions.
