- Establishment of cross functional project plans, including determining critical milestones and key deliverables / performance indicators for the projects
- Tracking progress against these milestones, and communicating project status to identified stakeholders
- Manage Project scope and risks to ensure timely execution and clear communication of issues for resolution
- Work with Department leads on resourcing needs, tradeoffs, and prioritization
- Provide Project Management support for the development projects, with a main focus on New Product Introduction to the market
- Author and manage design and development plans in accordance with Product Development Process standard practices
- Work with Seer's Software and Quality functions to develop and implement software development and life cycle (SDLC) management process.
- Manage project communications within the Product Development group and to stakeholders outside the group
- Coordinate Project Core Team meetings and Leadership / Product Approval Committee Phase Gate meetings
- Coordinate with the Director of Corporate Strategy to establish Portfolio Management processes and company wide project tracking
- Establish Project Management and meeting best practices across the organization
- B.S. degree or greater, preferably in the biological sciences or chemistry, or in engineering or the physical sciences.
- 8+years experience in life science/biotechnology or related industries, 6+ years of experience in project management with a proven track record of product release and/or maintenance.
- Hands-on ability to generate and manage the Gantt chart for development projects.
- Experience with ISO 9001, cGMP, and medical devices/ISO 13485 experience is highly desired.
- Experience with Agile methodology is desired, and PMP certification is a plus.
- Exposure to best practices around software deployment a plus.
- Experience with Jira, MS Project and/or Asana project tracking and managing application highly desired.
- Experience in requirement engineering and SDLC management is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals that make up a typical project team including technical, manufacturing, quality, marketing, etc.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated experience in cross-functional and timely communication
