- Position will include some night, holiday, and weekend work, and qualified candidates must be willing to work as-needed on these occasions
- Technical School or Associate's Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in roadway and/or bridge construction inspection is preferred
- Local candidates are strongly preferred
- Industry certifications that are strongly preferred include:
- CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level 1
- CTQP Asphalt Roadway Levels I
- CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection
- IMSA Traffic Signal Technician Level I
- CTQP Final Estimates Level I
- FDOT Intermediate MOT
- Nuclear Radiation Safety, Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors
- Critical Structures Construction Issues, Self-Study Course
- CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II (Bridges)
- CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
- CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection
- High School diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years experience
- Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
- Proven problem-solving and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- This position typically requires successfully passing drug-screening procedures prior to being hired; thereafter subject to random and cause drug and alcohol testing
