This is a Full-time, Evenings, opportunity.This candidate will be working in our Microbiology Laboratory. This candidate will be performing specimen management and processing and some phlebotomy procedires and should have experience within both areas. This candidate must have excellent customer service skills, as they will be working with other healthcare professionls and patients. This candidate should have comprehensive computer skills as well.As a Medical Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for:
  • Performing a variety of clerical and technical duties associated with the pre- and post-analytical handling of laboratory specimens and results.
  • Communicating laboratory results and responding to specimen-related questions from physicians and various other caregivers.
  • Collecting blood specimens for routine and special laboratory procedures.
  • Utilizing computer functions.
