Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!Pay: $21.00/hrShift/Hours: Onsite - Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pmIn this role as a Production Assembler and Grinder, you will be responsible for a variety of jobs fitting together manufactured and purchased parts into subassemblies or complete products.Responsibilities:Read and understand blueprints and routing to produce parts from them to the required specifications.Transfer cardboard cartons from racking on pallets on the floor.Place labels on cartonsFold cardboard into carton. Transfer product off of line, insert product into cartonInsert product & transfer onto pallet either on a palletizer or on a pallet on floor.Hand tape small cardboard boxes using a manual pistol-grip taper. Insert product into carton, tape the top of the box, and transfer onto palletResponsible for the care of routine maintenance and keeping the work area neat and clean.Follow all rules regarding machine operation and machine guarding.Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality and safety.Assist supervisor and perform other duties as needed and directed.Operates equipment to buff and polish metal surfacesStop any machines upon discovery of a problem and make the required adjustments as quickly as possible to minimize downtime.Provide quality control by inspecting workpieces as they come out of the equipment and removing any defective pieces.Operate machinery, including polishing and grinding equipment, to grind any metal workpieces to their prescribed specifications to ensure high-quality products.Finish products by hand using hand tools to ensure the surfaces are filed or finished accordingly.Keep all equipment running by inspecting and performing basic maintenance, including lubrication and cleaning, and scheduling repairs when needed.Perform basic repairs, including replacing parts when they are worn down or broken, within the scope of expected knowledge and expertise.Assists all supervisor and perform other duties as needed and directed.Required Qualifications:· High School Diploma or equivalent required· Read and understand blueprints· Assembly experience· Machine Operator experience· Quality/ Maintenance skills (inspecting and performing basic maintenance)Pay Details: $21.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
