This position independently manages department-specific workflows, supports EMR optimization, facilitates cross-functional communication, and leads or contributes to department-wide initiatives.You'll be responsible for coordinating the resolution of scheduling or insurance verification/authorization issues and identifies, researches, and recommends business-oriented solutions related to Hospice and Home Health processes or procedures for enhanced patient care and customer service. the position is as Volunteer Coordinator oversees delivery of all Hospice volunteer services. Including meeting with patients and family's to evaluate volunteer needs, ensures regulatory requirements are met, plans and conducts volunteer support meetings.Minimum QualificationEducation Required: High school diploma or equivalentPreferred Education Associates degree in administration or healthcareExperience Required: Four (4) years of clerical, administrative or customer service experience in a healthcare settingPreferred Experience: Previous experience as a lead or supervisor, previous experience working with patients individually (care coordinator, case manager, volunteer coordinator, etc.)Substitution: Three (3) years of clerical, administrative or customer service at BRH or a bachelors degree in healthcare administrationPractice Notices:
