Training will begin in early May.This is the required availability:Please note we prefer to hire candidates with full-day availability.Full Day -8 am to 4:30 pm Mon-FridayAM shift 8 am- 12:30 pm Mon-FridayPM shift 12 pm-4:30 pm Mon-FridayAM & PM shifts: $325 a week or $65 for a dayFull-Day Shifts: $650 a week or $130 a dayWe don’t guarantee work for the entire summer.Teach technology classes at schools in one (or more) of the following VA/MD/DC counties/cities:Loudoun | Fairfax | Prince William | DC | Montgomery | Howard | FrederickMUST HAVE OWN VEHICLE TO TRANSPORT LAPTOPS AND RELATED EQUIPMENTDUTIES:Pick up equipment from our local facility and travel to assigned schoolShow up ON TIME - we are responsible for childrenSet up laptops and related equipment for 8-12 ChildrenTeach Minecraft Programming, Game Design, Scratch, Animation and/or Lego Robotics classesEnsure students safely leave with appropriate parents or staffQUALIFICATIONS:Familiar with video and/or computer gamesEnjoys working with and teaching kids between 5 and 14 years of ageGood interpersonal and communication skillsMust be able to work well independentlyMust be able to pass a criminal and sex offender background check*PLUS but not required - some experience with basic programming, Minecraft, Lego Robotics, or any 3Dmodeling software*PLUS but not required - some child-care, teaching, and/or tutoring experienceThis is a paid internship or part-time SEASONAL position.
