Schedule: MondayFriday, Day Shift (5:00am1:30pm). Overtime and some weekends as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesAdhere to all safety policies: wear PPE, attend safety meetings, and report unsafe conditions immediatelyMaintain punctuality and professionalism on the job site; communicate time-off requests in advanceCreate daily work plans and prioritize tasks before each shiftKeep the blast booth and workspace clean, organized, and inspection-readyPerform daily cleaning and equipment maintenance, including blast booth and sandblasting toolsAccurately track piece counts and time spent on each job for reporting and billingApply correct blasting standards (SP-1 through SP-15) to meet project specificationsTroubleshoot and repair field equipment (blast pot, dust collector, vacuum, etc.)Communicate effectively with foremen, supervisors, and team members to ensure smooth operationsContribute to process improvements and team productivityRequirementsProven sandblasting experience in an industrial settingAbility to blast 150 sq/ft to an SP-10 in one hourKnowledge of blasting standards (SP-1,2,3,5,6,7,10,11,13,15)Skilled in equipment inspections and preventative maintenanceStrong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot/repair field equipmentMust provide own basic tools (wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, hammer, paint scraper, channel locks)Must pass pre-employment screening and be at least 18 years of agePreferred QualificationsPrior experience in coatings or industrial surface prepFamiliarity with Air Quality Department inspection standardsBenefitsMedical insurancePaid sick timeHoliday pay401(k) with company matchWork Environment
This position is based in an industrial blasting environment in Phoenix, AZ. Work involves exposure to dust, noise, and heavy equipment. PPE is required at all times.#ZR #MON
