Overview:The Cargo Claims Analyst is responsible for processing freight claims. This position requires a thorough understanding of the company terms, insurance policies, customer contracts, and the legal landscape of the logistics industry. Responsibilities:
  • File and manage subrogation claim against our carriers and agents, and understand their liability across multiple situations
  • Interface with our insurers and operators to ensure that adequate coverage is in place to protect the interests of the organization
  • Understand different customer contracts and AIT’s liability across multiple situations
  • Process claims accurately and in a timely manner to enhance the customer experience
  • Obtain missing documentation from the correct parties so that claims may be processed
  • Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands deem necessary

Other Skills We Hope to See:
  • High School degree or equivalent experience
  • 0-3 years of experience in freight claims or collections.
  • Knowledgeable in AS400
  • Microsoft Office experience including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
