Capital Markets/ Securities/ M&A Associate role for an experienced Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience, sought to join the busy Corporate Transactions Group. The candidate will work on a variety of work, public and private M&A, private equity, joint ventures, growth equity financing, and general corporate and commercial matters. A varied role supporting In-House legal departments and operational teams for an array of companies.Great role for a Capital Markets Associate with highly reputable mid-size firm. |Great work culture, reasonable billable requirement.The successful Capital Markets/ Securities/ M&A Associate will have demonstrable skills:
  • 3-5 years experience working on varied matters within an AM Law 200 firm in corporate, securities, capital markets and M&A - strong transactional skills essential
  • End to end experience in working on public company equity/ debt capital markets/ M&A transactions and SEC reporting/ compliance work
  • The firm is looking to appoint an Associate who has run deals from start to end, with minimal supervision.
  • Candidates must have experience managing client relationships and handling day-to-day requirements, providing a high level of service to all clients.
  • Strong drafting and negotiating skills, verbal communication and team ethos essential.
  • The client is looking for a strong academic background and preferably AM Law 200 law firm experience.
  • Candidates MUST be admitted to practice law in the state of Illinois.
