- Contribute to project effectiveness by assisting with the interpretation of engineering drawings, work orders, specifications and manufacturer's technical data materials; also assist or perform diagnostics of equipment failures and recommend solutions to solving equipment reliability problems
- Improve service results by developing and implementing work process improvements in assigned area of responsibility
- Maintain workflow by approving completed work orders and storing requisitions for materials
- Make sure work is carried out in an efficient manner by coordinating daily work schedules with the customer's operations, including personnel deployment, materials coordination and information availability
- As directed, fulfill contract and Operating System Requirements (OSR)/Operating System Implementation Plan (OSIP) requirements by ensuring that the duties and responsibilities of the project contract are clearly defined, documented and followed by the Fluor team
- Maintain staff by supervising and motivating craft workers with skills focused in the installation, repair, preventive and predictive maintenance, removal, operation, or adjustment of equipment or components in accordance with project procedure requirements and specifications
- Other duties as assigned
- Craft certification, training, and experience appropriate for assignment scope; directly related experience equal to ten (10) years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
- Typically degreed, preferably in engineering or business field of study with minimum four (4) years of Construction Project experience
- Comprehensive understanding of project management.
- Recommend a minimum of four (4) years of project and/or site management experience
- Knowledge of complete building systems (Controls, Security, Power, etc.)
- Top Secret Clearance Required
- Required local travel in the DMV area for local projects.
- May be required to travel internationally - assignments can be up to 5 months
- Occasional weekend, evening, and after hours work may be required
- Journeyman license/certificate or equivalent is required
- OSHA 30 or equivalent
- US Citizen
