- Collaborate with the Sales Team to assess project feasibility and strategic alignment, qualifying incoming opportunities.
- Utilize in-depth product knowledge to proactively identify and pursue expansion opportunities within the existing client base, contributing to sales growth.
- Enhance product value by leveraging a comprehensive understanding of Filtration Group’s capabilities to meet complex customer needs.
- Organize and actively participate in Customer Innovation Days to drive collaborative ideation and uncover new business opportunities.
- Serve as the technical lead in customer interactions, ensuring alignment between product development, market needs, and customer specifications.
- Foster relationships with key accounts, providing technical guidance and support to Sales Managers and the Product Development team.
- Collaborate with Sales Managers to match customer needs with existing products or initiate custom product developments.
- Utilize digital tools, including AI and web analytics, to uncover and capitalize on opportunities within the existing customer base.
- Represent the company as a technical resource at customer sites, tradeshows, and conferences, demonstrating a commitment to customer engagement and market expansion.
- Develop a curated database of applications and product solutions to establish the company as an expert in custom product development.
- Bridge customer feedback with R&D initiatives, conveying market needs to the Product Development Engineering and R&D teams.
- Collaborate with Marketing to craft targeted sales materials highlighting unique product benefits, supporting and empowering the sales team.
- Identify and define essential testing protocols and regulatory requirements to streamline product development for specialty markets.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to interpret the voice of the customer and identify potential growth markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in a technical sales or applications engineering role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the industry and relevant filtration technologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
