This is a great opportunity to learn and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting Spring/Summer 2026.The event kicks off on Wednesday evening with a networking mixer from 6-8 pm, where you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects, career paths, and the company itself. You'll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals from across our business lines.On Thursday and Friday, interviews will take place at our New York office. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for early career opportunities.AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Construction Engineer for our Transportation Projects in New York City Metropolitan Area (NY METRO). The Candidates will be working on Transit/Rail and Bridge/Highway Projects in New York City Metropolitan Area (NY METRO).This position is expected to begin in Spring/Summer 2026 or as discussed.We take on the most complex challenges and pioneer innovative, iconic solutions that push the limits of what's possible - the world's longest cable-stayed bridge, record-breaking sports events, the largest greenfield port development megaproject, life-sustaining and disaster recovery programs, and the tallest tower in the Western Hemisphere.On projects spanning transportation, buildings, water, governments, energy, and the environment, we deliver professional services throughout the project lifecycle.About DCS/Transportation at AECOMAs populations grow, so do demands for safe, expedient, and cost-effective transportation.   • Under direct supervision, perform routine duties requiring knowledge of basic engineering principles.
  • Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work.
  • Perform specific and limited portions of broader assignments.
  • Spend large percentage of time performing estimating take-offs and performing walk-downs for quantity tracking purposes, reporting of installed quantities, performing field inspections to verify adherence to design.
QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or another related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with CADD, HCS, Revit, Sketchup, AutoCAD, MicroStation, InRoades, InSite, and GIS is preferred.
