Join our growing team supporting customer missions as a Senior Database Administrator in a sophisticated enterprise exploitation environment. Responsibilities:What you get to do every day:Senior database administrator with experience supporting large scale or enterprise level database services. * Managing/Senior Principal Consultant designs and implements individual components of the Oracle products based on area of expertise.
  • Analyzes detailed requirements and develops detailed design for a specific Oracle product or technology.
  • Provides implementation services for a specific product to include extensions and additional configurations necessary to implement customer unique business processes and workflows.
  • Performs routine health checks and optimizations of system performance, availability, access controls and security.
  • Performs system optimization, performance tuning and assists in capacity planning.
  • Performs proactive analysis of potential issues, risks and roadblocks during system implementation and operations.
Qualifications:Security Clearance Required: TS-SCI with FS poly **This position is not open for any clearance upgrades or sponsorship.**Education/Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
  • 10 + years experience administering to, and engineering solutions with Oracle’s database (10 – current).
Required Skills:
  • Support for 24x7 production database environment. After-hours call in support be necessary when scheduled.
  • Extensive experience with database design and modeling; as well as, the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning.
  • Must be an independent worker with strong communications skills.
What is ideal?
  • Experience with the production and deployment of RAC, RMAN backup & recovery.
  • Experience with Oracle Exadata, DB security, Data Guard and / or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration.
  • Experience in technical operations at DOD agencies, particularly NGA and DIA
