ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to lead multi-disciplinary engineering efforts across the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System for Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and other Federal agencies. This high-impact role ensures the delivery of timely, accurate GEOINT by driving system development from requirements through integration and evaluation.As a senior technical leader, you will mentor and guide engineering teams across all phases of the system lifecycle—supporting mission-critical capabilities through strategic planning, systems design, performance engineering, and large-scale integration efforts.Key Responsibilities:Lead and mentor mid- and junior-level systems engineers across the full lifecycle: requirements engineering, solution design, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, service development, integration, testing, and analysis.Oversee the planning and traceability of user needs, system architectures, and procedures to improve or automate existing systems.Review and assess cloud service capabilities, workflows, and scheduling limitations to drive system optimization.Support the development of solution designs based on requirement analysis and emerging technologies.Assist government stakeholders in translating mission and customer needs into technical requirements and capability solutions.Conduct system integration across programs and agencies to ensure cohesive and interoperable systems.Perform engineering assessments, including Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Trade Studies, and Course of Action (CoA) evaluations.Support strategic technical planning, project and performance management, risk assessment, and interface design.Operate at the enterprise level—integrating systems, services, and processes across major acquisition programs and interagency environments.Why This Role Matters:This is more than a technical role—it's a leadership opportunity to influence systems that are vital to national security and global partnerships.
