This position is hybrid and has work from home flexibility.Position Summary:Do you enjoy working with pricing for professional services? Do you thrive on delving into reports to analyze data for tracking and usage to understand and determine success of teams, departments and an organization as a whole? Then our Client Value Data Analytics Manager opening might be just the position for you! This role is perfect for the individual who is looking to be on the front line of development and execution of pricing and client value strategies and see their work have an immediate impact on Benesch through their efforts.The Client Value Data Analytics Manager works closely with the Director of Client Value and Practice Management, the Senior Legal Project Manager and the Pricing Manager on the development, coordination, management and execution of the firm's pricing, client/matter management and client value strategies. Further, the role collaborates with peers in marketing, client intake and FP&A to consider how the firm tracks, reports and analyzes data with an eye toward comprehensiveness and usefulness. The role oversees the day-to-day work of Client Value analysts to ensure the accuracy and consistency of all financial reports and tools and support the development of data management best practices to improve overall data quality. This position requires continued learning through keeping pace with developments in the legal industry related to pricing, profitability, technology, and data analysis.Essential Functions: * Mentors, supervises, and provides professional development for Client Value Data Analysts; ensures quality, consistency, and accuracy of their work.
  • Contributes to the development and execution of pricing and client value strategies in collaboration with the Director of Client Value and Practice Management, the Senior Legal Project Manager, and the Pricing Manager.
  • Leads the design and implementation of pricing models, budgeting tools, and reporting templates that support attorney decision-making and client engagement.
  • Manages cross-functional initiatives with IT, FP&A, and Business Development to align analytics tools and workflows with business goals.
  • Spearheads client-facing analytics projects, including the development of standard and customized pricing and profitability reports.
  • Ensures data integrity and governance across client and matter records, particularly for alternative fee arrangements and financial reporting.
  • Drives continuous improvement in data analytics processes, including automation, standardization, and adoption of best practices.
  • Analyzes firmwide trends and performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and improved financial outcomes.
  • Supports strategic planning through scenario modeling, variance analysis, and rate evaluation.
  • Oversees matter closing documentation, including gathering relevant matter data intelligence for use in knowledge management and future pricing, project budgets, and analysis.
  • Assists with analysis and research related to annual rate increases.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned or required.

Highly skilled in Microsoft Office, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), and data presentation platforms, and excel at transforming complex data into actionable business insights.
