DescriptionThe Continuous Improvement Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining a continuous improvement strategy throughout our manufacturing facility. This role will lead initiatives to optimize processes, reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance overall quality and productivity. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologiesKey Responsibilities:· Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy aligned with company goals. Lead, mentor, and coach employees at all levels on the principles and tools of continuous improvement.· Process Improvement: Identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvement, waste reduction (Muda), and efficiency gains. Lead and facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and other problem-solving workshops.· Project Management: Manage and execute a portfolio of continuous improvement projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and measurable results. Utilize project management tools to track progress and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).· Data Analysis: Use data-driven approaches to analyze processes, identify root causes of problems, and measure the impact of improvements. Utilize statistical tools (e.g., Six Sigma) to drive data-based decisions.· Training & Development: Develop and deliver training programs on continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, 5S) to build internal capabilities and empower employees.· Culture & Communication: Champion a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement. Effectively communicate project goals, progress, and results to all stakeholders.· Best Practices: Stay current with industry's best practices and emerging trends in continuous improvement and manufacturing technology.Safety & Quality: Ensure all continuous improvement initiatives prioritize safety and quality standardsRequirementsQualifications:· Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.· Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a continuous improvement role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing Lean and/or Six Sigma initiatives.
· Certifications:
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification is required.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
· Skills:
  • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing Principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, VSM).
  • Proficient in Six Sigma methodologies and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and statistical software (e.g., Minitab).
