  • Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and collecting relevant medical histories.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are ready and sterile.
  • Perform basic lab tests and manage specimen collection for laboratory analysis.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Shedules patients appointments and facilitate effective office communication.
  • Educate patients about their treatment plans, prescribed medications, and proper skincare techniques.
  • Keep examination and treatment rooms clean and organized, with all necessary supplies adequately stocked.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in a Medical Assistant role or a clinical environment is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, especially in the context of dermatology.
  • Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and basic office software is advantageous.
