Apply now for immediate consideration!PURPOSE OF POSITION: Support the management and control of quality through the use of quality related skills, while supporting the policies and standard operation procedures.RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY: Responsible for quality of production parts. Responsible for supporting functions while adhering to Policies and Procedures.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:
Inspection of multiple finished goods.
Complete various inspections using multiple measuring devices and report the data accordingly
Communicate defects to engineers
Perform layered audits of the production process
Complete Continuous Improvement activities (kaizen) and report the results
Implement Rework instructions as needed
Input various data into Plex or check sheet as required
Assist with repair of defective material, log defects
Train new hire employees and temporary workers as required
Support document control
Conduct problem solving activities
Work safely within a production environment with fiberglass and chemicals
Perform other duties as required (other projects or assignments requested)POSITION REQUIREMENTS
SKILL (Ability to do the job)
Ability to work in a team environment
Must have good written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to read and interpret work instruction documents
Must be able to read material tags/labels
Knowledge of computer applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
Must be willing to work extended hours as needed to meet production requirements
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
