We are seeking a passionate and experienced R&D Engineering Manager to join our Development team. This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on engineering with leadership in product development, shaping solutions that directly improve patient outcomes across cardiology, neurology, urology, and beyond.As the R&D Engineering Manager, you will serve as both a design engineer and a team leader, guiding a talented group of engineers, technicians, and assemblers. You’ll drive projects from concept through development, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and with the highest quality standards.What You’ll DoLead, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional development teamOversee the design and prototyping of catheters, catheter-based delivery systems, and other disposable medical devicesManage projects using agile development methods, balancing technical excellence with business objectivesSupervise product design in SolidWorks and hands-on prototype builds in our laboratoryPartner with clients to communicate project status, challenges, and milestonesEnsure projects align with regulatory requirements and quality management systemsCollaborate with vendors on materials, components, and process sourcingPrepare and review design documentation, including FMEAs, test results, and drawingsSupport manufacturing transfer, verification/validation activities, and quality planningWhat We’re Looking ForEducation: BS or MS in Biomedical or Mechanical EngineeringExperience:6–10+ years of medical device development experienceStrong background in disposable device design, prototyping, and materials knowledgeProven leadership and supervisory experience in the medical device fieldFamiliarity with U.S. and international regulatory requirements and quality systemsSkills & Abilities:Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skillsExcellent verbal and written communicationProficiency with Microsoft Office and CAD tools (SolidWorks)Why Join Us?Make a direct impact on advancing patient care through breakthrough medical devicesLead a talented and collaborative team with the resources to innovateContribute to projects that span multiple medical disciplines, offering variety and challengeBe part of a company that values quality, integrity, and innovation in every projectIf you are a driven engineering leader ready to take ownership of meaningful projects, we want to hear from you.
