Position HighlightsThe University of Arizona's Fred Fox School of Music is accepting applications for Limited Adjunct Instructor for undergraduate classes for Fall 2025. Anticipated disciplines include: Opera Scenes, Opera Production, Harp, Introduction to Music Theory, Orchestra Conductor, Composition, Organ, and Voice Class. NOTE: The teaching schedule and hours will be dependent upon class assignment; assignment may be classroom-based, virtual or some combination thereof, depending on need and instructor preference. Hours will vary depending on courses taught but will not exceed 18 hours per week. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Instruct undergraduate students in field of expertise.
  • Plan class lectures and assignments.
  • Grade assigned papers and exams.
  • Hold regular office hours.
  • Assign grades to students, based upon performance in class assignments and exams.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in related discipline or equivalent professional credentials or certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Terminal Degree in related discipline.
  • 3+ years University level teaching experience in related discipline.
