Position Summary:Orlando Health is a 3,200-bed system that includes 15 wholly-owned hospitals and emergency departments; rehabilitation services, cancer institutes, heart institutes, imaging and laboratory services, wound care centers, physician offices for adults and pediatrics, skilled nursing facilities, an in-patient behavioral health facility, home healthcare services in partnership with LHC Group, and urgent care centers in partnership with CareSpot Urgent Care. Position Summary
Directs the daily operational activities of the department assuring that all quality and standards are met by making personal daily rounds,
signing inspection reports, and responding promptly,safely, and efficiently to all service or customer requests. The supervisor oversees all
operations in the absences of the Operations Manager.Education/Training
Associate degree required. Two (2) years of directly related work experience may substitute for the Associate degree (in
addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section).
Licensure/Certification
None.
Experience
Three years of experience in health care, not-for-profits, working with volunteers, hospitality or related experience.
Computer skills including word processing, spread sheets and Microsoft Outlook required. A Bachelor’s degree may
substitute for up to two (2) years of the required experienceEssential Functions

  • Operates UV disinfection machine as needed or according to policy.
  • Completes other assigned task by EVS Leadership.

  • Reports unsafe situations and turnsin Engineering Service Requestsforrepair.
  • Communicates orally orin writing openly and candidly, creates an environment where can do likewise.
