Granger Medical Clinic has an immediate opening for an experienced Medical Assistant with the Float Pool. This role requires flexibility and travel between clinic sites. Mileage will be reimbursed. The Float MA works closely with physicians and staff to support patient care and ensure smooth clinic operations.Pay Range: $15-$20/hour, based on experience, education, and skill levelLocations: Various Granger Medical Clinic sites including American Fork, Lehi, Salt Lake City, West Jordan, Murray, and Tooele.Schedule
32-40 hours per week (full-time hours not guaranteed)
Monday through Friday
Flexible schedule available (ideal for students)
Responsibilities
Record demographic and medical information for patients
Document vital signs and medical history
Administer immunizations and perform phlebotomy
Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during exams
Complete insurance authorizations and telephone triage
Communicate with patients regarding scheduling and care needs
Maintain clinical documentation and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Medical Assistant certification preferred
Two years of medical office experience preferred
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Dependable, flexible, and able to multitask
Team player who enjoys working with people
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
Additional language skills is a plus

Repetitive motion associated with computer and office equipment
Primarily indoor, climate-controlled environment
