- Interpret sales, marketing, and distribution strategies into creative concepts that communicate clearly and effectively across multiple platforms.
- Develop strategic creative ideas that elevate messaging and drive engagement across campaigns, presentations, and event activations.
- Work with creative agency to implement and execute these ideas into marketing tactics
- Copywriting & Messaging Development
- Write clear, compelling, and on-brand copy for:
- Presentation decks and business proposals
- Print and digital advertisements
- Event materials and booth messaging
- Posters, banners, and marketing collateral
- Email campaigns and social content
- Ensure all written content is aligned with brand tone, business strategy and target audience.
- Presentation Design
- Design and write cohesive PowerPoint decks that tell a clear visual and exciting narrative story for sales support and presentations.
- Collaborate with team to distill complex ideas into visually and verbally digestible slides.
- Marketing & Promotional Asset Creation
- Ideate, conceptualize, and produce integrated materials including:
- Digital banners
- Magazine and trade ads
- Posters and one-sheets
- Event booth graphics
- Experiential and out-of-home advertising
- Own both visual and written elements to ensure cohesive, impactful storytelling.
- Campaign Development & Execution
- Partner with cross-functional teams on marketing campaigns from concept through execution—bringing together design, copy, and brand strategy.
- Contribute to brainstorms, campaign ideation, and pitch development.
- Partner and Project Management
- Manage creative timelines and asset delivery across multiple workstreams.
- Coordinate with partners, agencies, production vendors, printers to ensure quality and consistency.
- Conference and Event Planning, Logistics and Execution
- Assist Director, team, and partners to conceptualize, plan, and execute creative strategy for major industry conferences and trade shows.
- Support the development of all branded creative elements including:
- Booth and environmental design
- Full-funnel event marketing
- On-site signage and print materials
- Giveaways, experiential activations, and talking points
- Presentation decks and custom video
- Ensure brand visibility, messaging clarity, and audience engagement at every touchpoint.
- Coordinate timelines, workflows, vendors, and asset delivery to meet event deadlines.
- Manage the inventory, shipping, and delivery of giveaways
- Specialized Partner Management
- Manage the relationship and marketing deliverables for specialized partners including college and luxury segments
- Maximize distribution, marketing, events, and membership opportunities
- Day-to-day support of the partnership
- 4-5 years of experience as a creative strategist, graphic designer or creative marketing in the television, film, media, and/or advertising industry
- Passionate and knowledgeable about TV, film, streaming and the HBO/HBO Max brand and content.
- Strong portfolio showcasing both visual design and copywriting across digital, print, event, and presentation formats
- Proven ability to interpret business strategies into effective creative messaging—both visually and verbally
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills across a range of formats and tones (B2B, B2C, experiential, promotional)
- Analytic understanding of brand voice, tone, and positioning
- Experience producing content for events, trade shows, or entertainment marketing campaigns
- Strong organizational, detail-oriented and time-management skills, with the ability and flexibility to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Solutions-oriented, collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills and the ability to pivot for the best possible outcomes
- Must be able to travel for events and conferences in the US approximately 10%
- REQUIRED: Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Keynote and After Effects a plus
