
Nurse Manager and Educator

- Assist with the creation, development and implementation of nursing curriculum and instructional programing, as directed by the Director of OHC.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among Health Clinic staff and other departments.
- Ensure continuity of patient care information between shifts, coordinate client admissions, discharges, transfers, and other operational issues.
- Provide ongoing clinical evaluations of patients while promoting a positive patient experience and environment that supports family-centered care reflective of the patient population.
- Assist in development and implement departmental policies and procedures while monitoring operations to ensure maximum success in departmental goals.
- Assist in ensuring that all regulatory standards are maintained.
- Use evidence-based practice and research to guide patient care through interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Treat, examine and render care to patient clients in accordance with physician's orders.
- Provide preventative and rehabilitative psychiatric nursing procedures.
- Oversee daily operations of assigned areas in a cost-effective manner.
- Participate in Quality Improvement as indicated.
- Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training.
- All required training, certifications and licensures must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
- Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the client's treatment. All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.
- Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Licensure : Valid Ohio Registered Nurse license required.

- Experience : Experience working with children and adolescents required.
- Previous supervisory and/or management experience preferred.
