- 6:00 am- 2:30 pm (Monday- Friday) plus Overtime
- Assemble VISTA Switch, both on the assembly line and directly on the shop floor.
- Identify, transport, install, mount and bolt all types of components (ranging from 5 lbs. to 50 lbs., with assistance), including bus assemblies, high-voltage switches, mounting and support plates, lock assemblies,
- Perform mechanical inspection using torque wrenches, screwdrivers, and tape measures.
- Have proficiency in the use of simple material handling equipment, hand tools, power tools, simple gauges, instruments and overhead cranes.
- Operate simple machinery such as automatic Press machines.
- High School/GED diploma required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical operations.
- Demonstrated ability to use basic shop math and measurement tools such as tape measures.
- Ability to follow standard work instructions, assembly drawings, and specifications.
- Knowledge and ability to use air impact tools and other hand-held tools.
- Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment a plus.
- Standing: All tasks are performed in a standing position with intermittent walking.
- Lifting: Frequent lifting of items ranging in weight from 5 lbs. to 50 lbs.
- Walking: Occasional walking moderate distances (less than 1/8 mile).
- Carrying: Frequent carrying of items ranging in weight from 5 lbs. to 25 lbs.
- Pushing: Occasional pushing of motorized material handling carts with loaded weights up to 1000 lbs.
- Pulling: Occasional pulling of motorized material handling carts with loaded weights up to 1000 lbs.
- Bending: Frequent bending and crouching to safely lift parts of various sizes and shapes.
- Reaching: Continuous full range of motion from above the shoulders to below the knees.
- Handling: Continuous handling of parts ranging in weight from 5 lbs. to 50 lbs.
- Other: Respirator certification required.
