Were hiring a CNC Maintenance Technician Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department at a busy and well-equipped machining facility. This is a direct hire position with a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.About the Facility:Over 85 CNC machines in a large, well-organized shopPrimarily vertical mills, with some horizontal mills and lathesEquipment includes Haas, Okuma, Toyoda, Doosan, and Mori Seiki machinesProducing machined castings for major OEMs like Cummins, Mack, and VolvoWhat Youll Do:Supervise and schedule daily work for maintenance techniciansOversee and maintain a preventive maintenance (PM/TPM) program for all CNC machinesTroubleshoot and repair CNC machinery, including spindles, ball screws, electrical systems, and moreInterpret and follow electro-mechanical diagramsCommunicate downtime, repair needs, and production impacts effectivelyWork independently and lead by example in a hands-on environmentMaintain machine spare parts inventory and ensure cleanliness and safety in work areasAssist with building and facility maintenance as neededWhat Were Looking For:Experience maintaining CNC equipment in a manufacturing setting is requiredPrevious supervisory experienceFamiliarity with Haas machines and controls is preferredKnowledge of Fanuc controls and working on vertical and horizontal CNC machinesElectrical knowledge including 110/220/480V (single & three phase)Skilled in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical repairsStrong understanding of safety protocols including Lock-Out/Tag-Out proceduresBasic computer skills and ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawingsExperience with automation (PLCs, Fanuc industrial robots) is a plusPhysical Requirements:Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screeningAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver around/under equipment as neededWillingness to work both indoors and outdoors in changing weather conditionsThis is a great opportunity for someone coming from a CNC service/distribution background.
