Sanitation Worker/Mix Operator

- Set up the mix lines, batch tanks, cream silos, mix silos, blending system, and related components
- Assist first shift mix operator as needed by filling in for breaks, lunches, and vacations, as needed
- Assist in maintaining counts and monitor usage of ingredients and packaging materials
- Blend raw materials and operate mix room equipment and controls to the specifications supplied by the Company
- Effectively pasteurize and send mixes through the HTST system and clean and sanitize the HTST system
- Receive raw materials by unloading tanker trucks and retrieve and stage raw materials needed for the days mix run
- Manually clean work area and specific parts or pieces throughout and after the production shift
- Accurately complete paperwork and records pertaining to lot codes, inventory, etc., and follow daily mix production schedule as written
- Assist production lines and sanitation when needed and use HTST Press and Homogenizer Machines
- Perform other duties as needed
- Must have prior mixing experience
- Must have previously operated a stand-up forklift and pallet job safely and efficiently
- Must have the ability to follow daily production schedules, specifications, and formulas
- Must be able to perform math skills and pass job-related competency tests
- The ability to accurately complete all paperwork and records is important
- Must be able to repeatedly lift 60 pounds bags and buckets
- Must have an eye for detail while extremely safety-conscious
- Must be reliable with excellent attendance
