
Language Services Operations Specialist

- Hours:
- Monday-Friday with rotating shifts between 7am-7pm.
- After successful onsite training (up to 6 weeks), you will work in office for 5-6 days per month on average. You may be required to work in office more than that depending on your ability to work from home or particular trainings, events, or meetings.
- When parking onsite, there is a fee that the employee is responsible for.
- Be responsible for managing systematic department processes through coordination of division activities and high-level data management.
- Complete administrative tasks of the operations team.
- Receive inbound contacts throughout the entire day (calls, emails, faxes, etc.) from patients, patient contacts and physician offices requesting services within JHMI.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling for interpretation services and coordinate other services supported through the department, serving in an on- call capacity and documenting patient encounters.
- Provide high quality customer service on every call and promote teamwork and call center success.
- Analyze data and reports to support the processes of the division and department and some project work.
- High school diploma.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of related experience in customer service preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Intermediate abilities with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and other similar applications.
- Love of critical thinking!
- Foreign language proficiency preferred
