We want to help you achieve growth by giving you access to a network of smart and supportive people, willing to listen to your ideas.Job ResponsibilitiesAssist with the performance of periodic onsite assessments reviews regarding the compliance with organizational policies and procedures, and the effectiveness of controlsAssist with reviews of construction bid packages, proposals, amendments, and contractsAssist with the review of change orders for appropriateness and accuracyPerform in-process and closeout transactional cost and billings reviews of payment applications and supporting documentationAssist project owners/developers, vendors, and contractors to identify cost avoidance and recoveriesPropose opportunities for cost avoidance and savings and project control improvementsContribute ideas to standardize operational and financial processes including major strategic capital expenditure projects for a variety of industriesAssist with the preparation of written reports, communications and/or presentations to project owners/developersEscalate cost issues and risks as necessaryPossess knowledge of construction delivery methods, procurement, contracting, and management processes, as well as contract types, incentive strategies, labor rate, and cost buildup techniques, and equipment pricingFollow engagement methodologies including:Following the Quality Assurance systemCompleting projects as assignedMaintaining a certain level of utilizationMay participate in other audit and advisory engagementsPerform other duties as requested or assignedRequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college/university in Finance, Construction Management, Accounting, or a related fieldMinimum of 1 year of relevant experience in construction management, project controls, procurement of contracts, cost control, internal audit, accounting, finance, or process consultingStrong background in software used in the service line, Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Power Point, and AccessEffective verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skillsPreferred QualificationsCCA, CCP, PMP, CPA, CIA, or other relevant certificationsArmanino LLP provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
