C.H. Robinson is seeking a 2nd shift Operations Manager to join our team in Plainfield, IN. As a key leader within our 1.2 million square foot facility, you will oversee the Distribution Center facility operations, maintaining optimum productivity levels and managing the cost of services provided to C.H. Robinson branch customers. As the Warehouse Operations Manager, you’ll be at the helm of day-to-day warehouse functions, overseeing outbound operations. Robinson customersDrive the safety, efficiency, and accuracy of all operationsConduct analysis of workload as compared to manpower and equipmentImplement staffing model to align with workload and labor goals, ensuring work schedules are in place to promote efficiencyManage KPI’s of all departments, containing cost and managing the budgetImplement safety and sanitation schedules that ensure the facilities compliance with corporate, OSHA, and AIB standardsWork with Transportation to ensure smooth flow of inbound and outbound carriersPartner with Service Assurance to ensure all customer needs are being metEnsure daily pre-shift meetings cover safety, previous productivity, operational opportunities, forecasting workload, and any other pertinent company informationResponsible for the training, development, and performance coaching of the teamPerform gap analysis on all warehouse standard operating proceduresRequired Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years oldMinimum 5 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution center, and/or manufacturing operations environmentMinimum 2 years of experience leading and managing teamsAbility to occasionally lift up to 50lbsAbility to work Monday – Thursday 5 pm – 3 am (with the ability to work overtime as needed)Applicants in a warehouse role must complete a pre-employment drug screen as part of a conditional job offer.Preferred Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDBachelor's degree from an accredited college or universityKnowledge of efficient and safe warehousing practicesProficient computer skillsManual dexterity required for operating machineryAbility to build strong relationships across all levels of the organizationBilingual in SpanishExcellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsAbility to motivate and inspire high performing teamsProven history of delivering detail oriented, accurate and organized results under pressureDemonstrates the desire and capacity to operate in an entrepreneurial, multi-task environmentBilingual in Spanish and EnglishValues a diverse and inclusive work environmentWe will review applications for this role on an ongoing basis and encourage all interested candidates to apply at their earliest convenience.Compensation Range $68,900.00 - $107,400.00The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location.
