- Maintain the safe and efficient operation of the central plant including boilers, chillers, cooling towers and associated equipment.
- Perform and prioritize all preventative, proactive and reactive work for central plant.
- Develop and maintain equipment documentation and service logs.
- Lead budgeting, planning, and capital projects to enhance long-term asset value
- Record mechanical equipment readings and ensure accuracy of records kept.
- Utilize the building automation system (BAS) to keep accurate computerized records of activities, time, and materials required.
- Manage and negotiate vendor partnerships and contracts.

- Engineering related degree preferred.
- Commercial facility experience required.
- Hydronic system experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience across multiple trades, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pumps/motors, and low voltage controls.
- Bilingual helpful but not required.
- Experience with complex mechanical systems and equipment.
- Comfortable using HVAC related tools and testing equipment.
- Professional communication and leadership skills to interact effectively with guests, owners, HOAs, and senior leadership, as well as to lead and support team performance.
- Experience operating forklifts, boom lifts and other heavy-duty equipment.
- Relevant mechanical and HVAC certificates preferred but not required.
- Budgeting experience required.
- Supervision of central plant staff required.
