DESCRIPTION OF POSITIONThe Practice Manager oversees the assigned healthcare centers clinically, operationally, and fiscally. He/she oversees the scheduler in establishing work schedules and assignments for staff. The Practice Manager will support and monitor compliance between departments, providers, staff, and regulatory guidelines. He/she will direct, supervise, and evaluate work activities of staff and monitor staff attendance.QUALIFICATIONSProfessional/EducationalBachelor Degree in a healthcare related discipline or Nursing License (BSN) requiredFive years of healthcare or business experience required, of which at least three years have been in supervisory, managerial, or charge person role.Leadership experience in a complex medical office or relevant setting.Basic proficiency in computer skills: Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Meditech, and eClinicalWorks experience helpful, but not required.Some knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding and billing, Medicare, and other regulatory compliance.DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion Required.PersonalStrong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to maintain and establish excellent customer relationships.Ability to work independently.Demonstrated ability to manage both clinical and non-clinical.Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.Capable of accepting new challenges and development of programs from start to finish.Ability to promote team building skills and to empower others.Be a person of integrity and character, willing to embrace change and make a positive impact in the lives of patients and co-workers.Ability to work with staff members at all levels of the organization in a cooperative, team-oriented manner.Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers offers a comprehensive benefit package including:
