- Receive and inspect incoming materials, parts, and supplies.
- Verify quantities received against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Properly label and store items in designated locations within the storeroom.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems or manual logs.
- Process requisitions and distribute materials to production or maintenance departments as per requests.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventories to reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies for handling hazardous materials or equipment.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the storeroom and associated storage areas.
- 1-2 yrs. of previous warehouse house experience required.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts. (Days and nights and Every other weekend)
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Inventory, data entry, and computer skills required.
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for periods of time as well as stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season.
- Good communication, organizational, and time management skills are required.
- Must be dependable and reliable.
