Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking an experienced Cost Accounting Manager to join their finance team. This is a high-impact role responsible for delivering financial insights that drive operational and strategic decisions across the business.Key Responsibilities:Provide strategic financial analysis on supply chain impacts to the P&L, balance sheet, and key performance indicatorsLead monthly close activities, including SOX compliance, variance analysis (plant spend, purchase price, production), and balance sheet reconciliationsPrepare, post, and review journal entries with accurate documentation in the financial systemSupport monthly forecasting and variance analysis for plant operationsContribute to annual budgeting and operational planning, including new product cost estimation and overhead structure analysisCollaborate with Supply Chain, Accounting, and Finance teams to deliver accurate, data-driven insightsProvide support to internal and external audit teams for annual audits and quarterly reviewsAssist with year-end physical inventories and roll-forwardsManage, mentor, and develop team members to ensure high performanceLead or support ad hoc projects as needed by leadershipQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance5–7 years of finance experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environmentPrior supervisory experience requiredExperience with standard costing methodologies strongly preferredProficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; Power BI experience is a plusStrong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentSolid understanding of ERP and financial information systemsInterested?
