ResponsibilitiesHow you will make an impact:
- Lead the planning and execution of IT infrastructure projects, including network architecture upgrades, server virtualization, and cloud integration.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders; develop detailed project plans and manage changes to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of technical projects.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, and resource allocations across multiple business units and technical teams.
- Collaborate with network engineers, system administrators, and cybersecurity professionals to ensure secure and scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Oversee the implementation of LAN/WAN, VPN, firewall, and wireless network solutions.
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including executive summaries, technical documentation, and risk assessments.
- Support continuous improvement of project management methodologies, tools, and templates.
- Assist the Xanterra Incident Response Team as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 5 years in IT Project Management, including infrastructure or network-related projects.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching).
- Experience managing projects involving server infrastructure, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Teams, OneDrive, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or Jira.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and technical stakeholders.
- Experience in hospitality, lodging, cruise, or travel industries.
- Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, etc.).
- Technical certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, or Microsoft Azure Administrator.
- Experience with hybrid project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, and blended approaches).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and proactive approach.
