Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Principal Network Engineer to join a defense modernization contract located in San Diego, CA through 100% full onsite presence. The Senior Principal Network Engineer will support advanced DOD initiatives, focusing on deploying & maintaining complex hardware & network systems to enhance Multi-Domain Command & Control capabilities.Responsibilities of the Senior Principal Network Engineer include:
  • Deploy & implement JFN Prototype systems
  • Install & configure system hardware
  • Develop, sustain, & maintain compute & networking solutions
  • Produce & maintain customer-facing documentation
  • Contribute technical content to product documentation
  • Collaborate with customers & cross-functional teams
Qualifications of the Senior Principal Network Engineer include:
  • 14+ years of experience + Bachelor's Degree OR 12+ years + Master's Degree OR 9+ years + PhD/JD
  • Familiarity with DOD best practices such as DODAF & Digital Twin methodologies
  • Experience with software development management tools like JIRA & Confluence
  • Excellent writing ability for technical documentation, process deliverables & tutorials
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with minimal supervision
  • Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance+
Compensation for the Senior Principal Network Engineer includes:
  • Salary Range: $160,000-200,000 **depending on experience**
