Our Team. Our Passion. Our Approach.POSITION SUMMARY:The Sr. Continuous Improvement (CI) Partner will play a key role in advancing FORTNA’s strategy deployment methodology across our value streams. Working closely with the CI Program Manager, this position supports the execution of high-priority initiatives by enabling alignment between strategic objectives and operational delivery.This role is ideal for someone with 2–5 or more years of business, project, or operations experience, who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and is looking to grow their influence while developing enterprise-level continuous improvement capabilities. Lean methodology applied at FORTNA focuses on using data to manage the foundational (standard) work of the business and prioritize strategic breakthroughs through the Hoshin Kanri strategy-to-action framework.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Supporting the deployment of FORTNA’s strategy through structured Hoshin Kanri planning, goal setting, and operating reviews
  • Partnering with value stream and functional leaders to align KPIs and drive execution of strategic initiatives
  • Coordinating weekly, monthly, and quarterly review meetings, ensuring clarity of objectives, actions, and follow-through
  • Standardize and maintain both the output of Kaizen events, as well as CI tools, templates, and work instructions across value streams
  • Collaborating with teams to surface risks, remove blockers, and escalate issues that impact project delivery or strategic progress
  • Supporting the planning and scheduling of in-person and virtual workshops or Kaizen events as part of our improvement roadmap
  • Connecting day-to-day operations with broader enterprise goals to improve customer delivery and internal performance
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associate's Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in project management, operations, business analysis, or continuous improvement
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to lead discussions and synthesize input across stakeholders
  • Solid organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple streams of work in parallel
  • Enthusiasm for solving operational problems and improving how we work
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to learn and apply Lean and CI principles in a hands-on environment
  • Demonstrated interest in building a culture of continuous improvement that enables cross-functional collaboration and long-term business growth
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience
  • Exposure to Lean management or similar CI tools and practices
  • Experience managing, supporting, or executing cross-functional initiatives in a project-based business model
  • Familiarity with performance metrics, dashboards, or structured problem solving
