Starting pay: $35.60Job Description:I. SUMMARY
This position has overall responsibility for management and coordination of all site inventory control operations for an assigned ABW Warehouse(s). Although some functional areas are not direct line reporting, this position must manage the relationships to assure continuity, quality and accuracy of the warehousing operation. This position is critical to the training and development of the all operations personnel. Direct customer communications are routine required. Open and honest communication up to ABW leadership is required.II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain a high level of customer service; both internal and external
Work alongside other departments keeping a flexible attitude to achieve business goals
Supervise the daily activities of the inventory control team
Execute cycle count scheduling and customer compliance
Ensure WMS (Warehouse Management System) item setup accuracy
Ensure timely return to stock, LP traceability, and accurate dump logs related to WMS
Ensure accurate WMS transactions are completed
All customer return processing
Ensure hold inventory accuracy
Mock recalls
Ensure timely system(s) inventory transactions
Destructions
Responsible for all auditing and trending
Ensure all non-WMS store locations remain free and clear
Monitor inventory levels to optimize order fill rate
Understand and assist where necessary in maintaining, and ensuring the quality management system is in place and functioning properly
Ensure availability for ‘after hours’ support
Accountable for all reports actions, attendance, training and discipline
Take and active role in new hire training to ensure best inventory practices are communicated
Must be available for occasional travel and training
Additional duties as assignedIII. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Previous experience managing or directly supervising personnel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Warehouse experience
Understanding of Lean and Quality Management concepts
Proficient use of personal computer with Microsoft Office softwareIV. MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL or TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
