
CSTO Staffing Coordinator

- Partners with managers to ensure consistent and balance staffing on a 24-hour basis.
- Maintains staffing and scheduling records with My Time, ensuring all changes are accurately documented.
- Uses PeaceHealth communication tools to locate, find and contact caregivers who can cover sick calls or other open, same day shifts.
- Interprets and accurately applies and follows all hospital scheduling and staffing policies.
- Effectively communicates staffing assignments and updates with caregivers and managers.
- May prepare, input and maintain monthly schedules for assigned units.
- May approve time off/education requests when doing scheduling.
- Provide reports as requested.
- May function as a resource to nursing managers for efficient use of scheduling system.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma Preferred: or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year Required: experience in customer service and
- Preferred: Scheduling and staffing experience and
- Preferred: Experience working in Healthcare
- Skills in problem solving and organizing and disseminating information. (Required)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. (Required)
- Proficient computer/keyboarding skills including MS Office applications. (Required)
- Ability to multi-task and work in an environment with multiple interruptions and successful follow through. (Required)
- Consistently operates computer and other office equipment.
- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
