Job Title Plant T1 | 2nd shift | Reclaim Operator IPosition OverviewResponsibilities:Prioritize work as directed by Lead and Team ManagerPerform routine maintenance on equipment (i.e. changing dies, screens, etc.)Test finished product for spec verificationThorough understand of latex and pellet recipesOperate latex mixer and compound extruderVerify finished product transfer into proper locationVerify raw material identification based on recipe and locationProperly dispose of all process waste materialIdentify and help resolve issuesOperate a lift truck to move materials within the departmentExpected to serve as a member of a team, attend and actively participate in meetings (could be before or after shift) and work toward team goalsParticipate in team building activities as planned.Gain and maintain all necessary skills to perform jobs as assignedAttend all training classes as scheduled for individual and team developmentAssist in keeping the entire facility cleanSafely complete other assigned duties as neededRequirements:Walking up and down stairs is part of the requirements for this position.This position will require standing, heavy and/or repeated lifting, bending, stooping, reaching overhead or crawling for long periods of timeVerbally communicate in English with team members about team needs and daily/weekly goals; participate in team meetings, provide feedback and contribute to team’s goals.Pass color blindness test.Successfully pass the LTO certification requirementsPass a vision and depth perception test as requiredUse computer systems and software as needed for the position.Withstand changes in temperature and humidity.Expected to be able to lift up to 50 poundsComply with all required OSHA, SAFE, and plant specific safety rules and regulations.Preferred:Previous experience in Latex and Extrusion CompoundingProficient with computer systemsWork Shift 8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts PMShaw Industries is an equal opportunity employer as to all protected groups, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
