provide complex turnkey project management, including securing grants and funding, fiscal
management, planning, team coordination, public involvement, design and construction management,
and planning monitoring and maintenance activities. Incumbents provide lead and technical civil
engineer support to other workers and departments Tribal wide. Must show the highest professional
standards and promotes a positive image of the Tribe and its administration at all times. Must have
strong customer service skills and the ability to defuse tense situations while maintaining a
professional demeanor. Must be culturally sensitive to a diverse customer population and able to
interact tactfully and positively with Tribal members, all levels of tribal staff and management.
Perform other duties as assigned to promote the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
- Complete complex civil engineering design and project management duties as it relates to all
- Present projects to clients, local jurisdictions/governments, and the public at formal and informal meetings/events
- Daily coordination with internal and external engineers, architects, clients etc.

- Interpret and analyze engineering plans
- Plan, organize, supervise, review, and evaluate the work of professionals and technical engineering
Must have at time of hire and be able to maintain a State of Idaho Professional Civil Engineer License (PE) or an
