Summary/ObjectiveThe Clinical Administrator, Residential Treatment for Boundless provides direction and leadership in the clinical Treatment provision and clinical operations of the central region's therapeutic residential programs. Service will be provided from a strengths-based lens, leaning into Trauma Informed Care and evidence-based treatmentmodalities. The Administrator will ensure the provision of high-quality services that are delivered in a fiscally responsible manner in accordance with company mission, vision and values. Working with individuals, clinical staff, parents/guardians, and community-based stakeholders, the Administrator facilitates access to care and addresses barriers.Essential Functions- Develops annual goals and objectives for their programs, in cooperation with the Director and members of the Leadership Team that are consistent with company financial, clinical, and strategic initiatives.- Prepares and adheres to annual budgets for assigned programs while maintaining fiscal oversight on an ongoing and consistent basis. Assures budget goals are attained or communicates to the Director the reason for a modification.- Provides supervision, direction, and professional development to clinical staff, program managers and supervisors to ensure managers and supervisors are providing appropriate program interventions, oversight, and guidance.- Creates, maintains, and reports on key performance indicators specific to quality assurance and outcomes that are in accordance with company financial, clinical, and strategic initiatives as they relate to therapeutic residential services.- Participates in the referral and intake process to support the evaluation process, ensure appropriateness of referrals accepted, with a focus on continual evaluation and improvement of the milieu and staff training to best support individuals served.- Ensures implementation of evidence-based services and interventions.- Ensures that everyday activities run seamlessly through the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and systems.- Keeps abreast of local, state, and federal requirements around licensing and service provision. Ensures compliance with all company policies, contract requirements, accreditations, and county/state/federal regulations for all assigned programs.- Ensures programs and employees are prepared for internal and external surveys, audits, and certification/licensing reviews.- Ensures staff are well trained in therapeutic interventions, trauma informed care, and clinical modalities used in Therapeutic Residential programs.- Facilitates coordination across all locations/areas of business to maintain quality and consistency in service delivery.- Maintains effective communication and a positive employee relation climate that encourages the sharing of information and the provision of feedback.- Ensures adequate infrastructure and allocation of resources to effectively support the day- to-day operations. Acts as a liaison for consistent communication and follow up with all locations/areas of business.- Participates in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and retention of clinical staff.- Maintain partnerships and effective communication with all stakeholders.- Facilitates the engagement of clinical staff in clinical research and professional training activities that promote the application of scientific practice and evidence-based interventions that promote clinical outcome.- Keeps abreast of certifications and licensing requirements for staff supervision and documentation for trainees, licensed/certified staff; effectively communicates changes and ensures implementation of required processes.- Works in coordination with the Operations Administrator and Director of Treatment Residential to develop and implement innovative programming. Targets of programs may include health, nutrition, and community engagement of individuals; parent education, support, and outreach; community outreach and education; and integration of services across the organization.- Assists in developing and maintaining appropriate structure in the therapeutic residential homes, fostering a positive, team atmosphere using the agency's 30 Fundamentals as a guideline.- Ensures timely completion of all program documentation, including service documentation, auditing and monitoring, timecards, and other required reports due within identified timeframes.- Adheres to company policies and procedures in addition to regulations, laws and other requirements from applicable governing bodies, certification, licensure and/or accreditation entities, etc.- This job operates in a professional office environment as well as residential treatment programs. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers.Other Responsibilities- Other duties as assigned.Supervisory DutiesThis position is directly responsible for the supervision of clinical staff within the assigned residential treatment programs.Education, Skills, Experience and RequirementsRequired Qualifications:- Applicants must hold a Master's or Doctorate degree in a human services field (e.g., social work, counseling, health care, social services, education, psychology, behavior analysis)- Applicants must be a licensed clinician (LISW, LPCC, psychologist) OR certified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) coupled with Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst (COBA) endorsement- Five or more years of experience in the provision of clinical services to individuals with behavioral health issues; preferably experience with co-occurring diagnoses of intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorder.- Minimum of two years of supervisory and management experience in the human service or health care industry which includes responsibility for the following functions: performance management, supervision of employees, program services, and financial management.- Working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations for services for behavioral health, behavioral analysis, development disability, and autism.- At least two years of experience billing services under Medicaid/Medicaid Managed Care and/or OhioRISE.- Ability to obtain and maintain certifications in and perform physical crisis management intervention as needed.- Ability to obtain and maintain Certifications in First Aid and CPR - adult, child and infant; delegated nursing.- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record, if applicablePreferred Qualifications:- Preference given to professionals with relevant supervisory designations (e.g. LISW-S, LPCC-S)- One year of experience with compliance and quality initiatives preferred.Competencies and AttributesPersonnel ManagementFocus on Needs of Individuals ServedComposureTeamwork OrientationEthical Conduct Detail OrientedFlexibility Behavioral Health Assessment and InterventionPersonal Effectiveness/CredibilityPhysical Demands/% of timeUse of office equipment (i.e.copier/scanner)Verbal communication >75%Lifting and/or carrying up to 50lbsUse of electronics (i.e. computer, tablet) >75% Manual dexterity 25-50%Pushing and/or pullingHandling and/or feeling 25-50% Near visual acuity >75%BendingHearing >75%Stooping, crouching, and/or crawlingWork Hours: This is a full-time position working at least 40 hours per week.
