- Design Leadership: Lead the design of custom residential projects, ensuring architectural solutions reflect client goals, site conditions, and project budgets.
- Project Oversight: Manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, from early schematic design through construction administration.
- Client Engagement: Attend selection meetings, present design proposals, and meet with clients in their homes to guide decision-making and ensure alignment with their vision.
- Construction Collaboration: Partner closely with the construction team to coordinate drawings, address field conditions, and monitor progress during job site visits.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare and oversee architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and custom detailing, ensuring coordination with structural and MEP consultants.
- Project Coordination: Serve as the bridge between design and construction-communicating with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure accurate execution.
- Quality Assurance: Regularly visit job sites to verify construction aligns with design intent and resolve any design or technical issues.
- Innovation & Sustainability: Integrate innovative solutions and sustainable practices into home designs where possible.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Experience: 5-8 years of professional architectural experience, with a focus on high-end custom residential projects.
- Licensure: Architectural licensure is not required.
- Software Proficiency: Strong skills in AutoCAD, Chief Architect, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or rendering software (e.g., Lumion, V-Ray).
- Knowledge: Familiarity with residential construction methods, building codes, and zoning regulations.
