You'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge battery systems, advanced data visualization tools, and innovative networking solutions while collaborating with other engineers.As an Application Engineer, you will take ownership of newly deployed battery energy storage systems from day one, configuring, testing, and optimizing them for peak performance. You'll work directly with customers and internal experts to troubleshoot controls, data, and dashboards ensuring systems run flawlessly. Your work will directly contribute to the clean energy transition, making a measurable difference in how renewable power is stored and delivered.This is a great opportunity for a mid-to-senior engineer looking to expand their skills, grow into leadership opportunities, and be part of a company that values innovation and initiative.The Person:
*Experience with power systems (battery systems strongly preferred)
*Proficient in SQL database setup & query
*Familiarity with messaging protocols such as MQTT, Modbus, DNP3 etc.
*Experience with data dashboard tools such as Quicksight, Grafana, Tableau, Power BI
*Understanding of IP schema and basic network topologyResponsibilities:
*Lead configuration of newly deployed battery energy storage systems
*Troubleshoot and resolve issues with controls, data, and visualizations
*Set up and maintain SQL databases for energy storage projects
